Create and send a quote clients can accept online (Quote Builder)

Modified on Sat, 11 Jul at 10:29 AM

The Quote Builder turns your pricing catalog into a priced quote your client can accept with one click. You assemble the lines, hit Publish, and KM Hub gives you a public accept link to send - no PDFs, no back-and-forth, and the acceptance lands back in your pipeline automatically.

Start a new quote

  1. Open Sales > Quote Builder.
  2. Click New Quote in the top-right corner.

Build the quote inline

The builder works right on the page - add lines until the total matches what you want to charge:

  • Add a package: pull a package straight from your pricing catalog, price included.
  • Add an add-on: attach add-ons from the catalog on top of the package.
  • Add a freeform line: type any custom line item for one-off charges that are not in your catalog.
  • Quantities and prices: adjust the quantity and price on each line - catalog prices are your starting point, not a lock.

If you have not built your catalog yet, see Build your pricing catalog: packages, add-ons, and option groups first - quotes get much faster once your packages are in place.

Publish and send the accept link

When the quote is ready, click Publish. Two things happen:

  1. The quote flips from draft to sent.
  2. KM Hub generates a public accept link for this quote.

Copy the link and send it to your client however you like - email, text, or a chat message.

What your client sees

The link opens a public quote page - no login and no account needed. Your client sees the full itemized quote and can accept it right on the page. Once they accept, the quote's status updates on your side.

Track quotes on the Quote Builder page

Back on the Quote Builder page you can search by client name or title and filter by status: All, Draft, Published, Accepted, or Declined. You can also delete a quote you no longer need from here.

Manage the full pipeline on the Quotes page

The Quotes page (Sales > Quotes) is your repository of every quote you have ever built. Use it to keep statuses honest as deals move:

  • Status pipeline filter: view quotes by stage - Draft, Sent, Viewed, Accepted, Rejected, or Expired.
  • Change status per quote: click the status buttons on a quote to move it through the pipeline. These buttons update the pipeline only - no email goes out to the client, so it is safe to tidy up statuses anytime.
  • Delete quote: remove quotes you no longer need.

New quotes are always built in the Quote Builder - the Quotes page is where you track and manage them afterward.
