Proposals in KM Hub are built from blocks, so you can compose a polished, client-ready document without wrestling a word processor. You stack typed blocks in the editor, drag them into order, publish a version for your client to view online, and export a PDF whenever you need a file to attach.
Create a proposal
- Open Sales > Proposals.
- Compose a new proposal: give it a name and pick the client it belongs to.
- The new proposal appears in your list. Click Edit to open it in the Proposal Editor.

The Proposals page is also where you keep tabs on everything in flight: use the status filter to narrow the list to the stage you care about, and click Edit on any proposal to jump back into its content.
Compose with blocks in the Proposal Editor
The editor shows your proposal as a list of blocks, top to bottom, exactly as the client will read it.
- Add a block: click the + menu and choose the block type you want to insert.
- Edit in place: each block has its own inline editor - click into a block and edit its content right there.
- Reorder by dragging: the block list is drag-sortable. Grab a block and drop it where it belongs; the proposal reflows instantly.
Work block by block: intro, the offer, pricing, terms - whatever structure fits your pitch. Because each piece is a separate block, restructuring a proposal takes seconds instead of a rewrite.
Publish a version
When the content is ready, click Publish. Publishing snapshots the current state of the proposal as a version. That snapshot is what your client sees, so you can keep editing the working copy afterward without changing what was already shared - publish again when you want the client to see the newer state.
What your client sees
Your client views the published proposal on a public proposal page - a clean, read-only view of your blocks in order. They see the version you published, not your in-progress edits.
Export a PDF
Need a file to attach to an email or print for a meeting? Click Generate PDF in the editor. KM Hub renders the proposal to a PDF you can download and share anywhere.
Getting back
Use the Back button in the editor to return to the Proposals list, where you can filter by status, open another proposal, or start the next one.
Tips for faster proposals
- Build your pricing catalog first (Operations > Packages) - your packages and prices feed proposals, so pricing blocks come together quickly.
- Publish early and often: each Publish is a safe snapshot, so you always know exactly what the client has in front of them.
- If the deal just needs a priced, one-click acceptance rather than a full document, use the Quote Builder instead - see Create and send a quote clients can accept online.
