Connect your own payment accounts once and the money from invoices and deposits lands straight in your bank. Stripe handles card payments, PayPal and Square are optional extras you can turn on alongside it, and QuickBooks keeps your books in sync. This article walks through each one.
Connect Stripe (card payments)
Stripe is the main rail for taking card payments on your invoices and deposits. You connect your own Stripe account, separate from your KM Hub subscription, so payouts go directly to you.
- Go to Settings > Connect > Integrations and click Set up Stripe on the Stripe card (this opens the Payments settings), or head to Settings > Payments directly.
- In your Stripe Dashboard, copy your live keys (they start with pk_live_ and sk_live_).
- Paste them into the Publishable Key and Secret Key fields. The secret key is masked; use the eye toggle to show or hide it while you paste.
- Optionally paste a Webhook Secret if you have one configured.
- Choose which payment methods to accept with the three toggles: Credit and Debit Card, US Bank Account (ACH), and Cash App Pay.
- Click Save Stripe Settings.

Once saved, open invoices with a balance due show a Collect payment button that charges the client's card through your Stripe account.
Admin only
Saving Stripe settings requires an org admin. If you're not an admin, the page shows a read-only notice and any save attempt fails with a clear error - it never silently pretends to succeed.
Connect PayPal
PayPal lets clients pay your invoices with PayPal alongside card. Payments land in your PayPal account and are recorded on the invoice automatically.
- Go to Settings > Connect > PayPal Payouts.
- Sign in at developer.paypal.com with your PayPal business account and create (or open) a REST API app.
- Copy the app's Client ID and Client secret into KM Hub. Credentials are verified against PayPal before being stored, kept server-side only, and never shown again - only a masked ID appears afterward.
- Pick a mode: Sandbox (safe testing, no real money moves) or Live. Sandbox and live have separate keys, so paste the pair that matches your mode.
- Click Verify and connect.

Tip: start in sandbox mode, confirm everything looks right, then switch to live keys to take real payments from clients.
Square
If you take payments through Square, it has its own page under Settings > Connect > Square. Connect it there to offer Square alongside Stripe.
QuickBooks
QuickBooks doesn't collect payments - it keeps your accounting in sync by pushing your KM Hub invoices and payments into QuickBooks Online. See the article QuickBooks: connect and export your income and expenses for the full setup.
