KM Hub told you that Google revoked permission to send from your Gmail address and that your email is now going out through your sending domain. The notice is accurate. Your Gmail account is fine, your mail did not stop, and here is how to switch back.
Your email kept going out
When a Gmail connection is revoked, KM Hub switches it off and falls back to your verified sending domain. If your domain is verified, mail still leaves as your same address, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC passing. Your customers see the same name in their inbox. Same address in front of them, different pipe behind it.
Reconnect Gmail
- Open Settings.
- Go to the Email Senders tab.
- Find the Gmail sending card. It will be showing a button that reads Reconnect Gmail sending.
- Click it and go through Google's consent screen once.
It has to be you who does this, because it is your Google account. Nobody else on your team can approve it for you.
If an older notice or article sends you to a tab called Email Domain, that is the same tab. Email Senders is what it says on screen.
Why Google revoked it
Nothing inside KM Hub can cause this or undo it. Google refuses the grant itself, and the usual reasons are:
- Access for a connected app was removed in your Google account.
- A Google Workspace admin policy removed it.
- The account password changed.
Check your reply reading too
The same Google permission also covers the connection that reads replies back into KM Hub. When Google pulls the grant, both halves stop, so campaign replies and bounce detection go quiet at the same moment. Reconnecting on the Gmail card brings both back. KM Hub now raises a notice if a mailbox connection dies, so you are told rather than left guessing.
Good to know
If your domain is not verified yet, get that done regardless. It is what keeps your mail moving the next time a token expires. See Emails landing in spam? Verify your domain (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) in this folder.
