Every email KM Hub sends for you - follow-ups, quotes, booking confirmations, newsletters - can go out from your own address instead of a generic one. Set this up once in Settings > Email Domain and your messages look like they came from you, because they did. It also makes a real difference to deliverability: mail sent from a verified address of your own is far more likely to land in the inbox instead of spam.
Pick the route that fits you
- Your domain (recommended): add your business domain (for example yourbusiness.com) and verify it. This covers everything KM Hub sends on your behalf and gives you the strongest deliverability.
- Your own inbox: if you live in Gmail or Google Workspace, you can connect that account directly so messages send as your exact address and show up in your own Sent folder. See Connect Gmail or Outlook to send as yourself and read replies for the steps.
- Your existing email provider: already sending newsletters through a dedicated provider? You can keep doing that. Verifying your domain in KM Hub authenticates the messages KM Hub itself sends, so the two can live side by side.
Add your sending domain
- Open Settings, then Your Account, and click the Email Domain tab in the Account & Domain tab bar.
- In the Add a sending domain field, type your domain - just the domain itself, like yourbusiness.com.
- Click Add Domain.

Your domain now appears in the list with a status pill. Before KM Hub can send from it, you'll add a few DNS records and verify it - the article Emails landing in spam? Verify your domain (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) walks through that part, including a one-click way to hand the DNS work to your web person.
Set your From name and From address
Once your domain is in place, tell KM Hub exactly who your emails should come from:
- In the From name field, enter the name recipients will see - usually your business name or your own name.
- In the From address field, enter the part before the @ (for example, type hello to send as hello@yourbusiness.com). The domain part comes from the sending domain you added.
- Click Save sender.
Make it your default sender
If you have more than one sender saved, click Set as default on the one KM Hub should normally use. That sender becomes the standard From identity for your outgoing email.
Send yourself a test
Before you rely on it, prove it works:
- In the Send test field, enter an address you can check - your personal email works well.
- Click Send test.
- Open that inbox and confirm the message arrived, shows your From name, and came from your address. Peek at the spam folder too - if it landed there, finish domain verification first.
What to do next
With a sender saved and a test delivered, verify your domain if you haven't yet (that is what keeps you out of spam long term), or connect your Gmail if you'd rather send through the inbox you already use. Both are covered in the other articles in this folder.
