Import your data from another CRM (HoneyBook, Dubsado, Zoho, 17hats, SMPL, DJEP, or a spreadsheet)

Modified on Sat, 11 Jul at 9:32 AM

You don't have to rebuild your business by hand. KM Hub's import hub brings your clients, events, invoices, and history over from the system you're leaving - HoneyBook, Dubsado, Zoho CRM, 17hats, SMPL, DJ Event Planner, or any spreadsheet export - and nothing is imported or charged until you approve it.

Where to find it

  1. Open Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Switch to the Connect tab and click Import.
  3. Or jump straight there: https://hub.kivimedia.co/?page=import-crm.

The Import your data hub in KM Hub showing seven source cards - DJ Event Planner, HoneyBook, 17hats, Dubsado, Zoho CRM, SMPL System, and Spreadsheet/CSV - each with a Ready badge and its own connect button, plus the consent-first footer at the bottom

Pick your source

The hub shows seven source cards, each with a Ready badge and its own button. Clicking a card opens that source's real import flow right on the page:

  • DJ Event Planner - events, clients, venues, revenue, and payments. Click Connect & import everything to start the live importer.
  • HoneyBook - clients, projects, invoices, and files. Click Connect & check my account.
  • 17hats - contacts, projects, invoices, and templates.
  • Dubsado - clients, projects, invoices, and forms.
  • Zoho CRM - contacts, deals, leads, and templates. Zoho uses a one-time Self Client connection instead of a password - see Connecting Zoho for import (creating a Self Client).
  • SMPL System - contacts, events, and invoices.
  • Spreadsheet / CSV - any export of contacts or bookings, with AI column mapping. Click Upload a spreadsheet.

Picked the wrong one? Use the Choose a different system button to go back to the grid.

Deep links

Each connected source also has its own direct address, handy if support or your onboarding contact sends you a link: ?page=import-honeybook, ?page=import-17hats, ?page=import-dubsado, ?page=import-zoho, and ?page=import-smpl.

The website prompt card

Along the way you may see a card asking for your business website. Filling it in lets KM Hub pick up your brand for the "Your brand" theme, so the app looks like yours from day one. It's optional and takes a few seconds.

Your approval comes first

Every connected import is read-only and consent-first: KM Hub signs in once (your credentials are never stored), counts exactly what's in your old account, and shows you the one-time fee. Nothing imports and nothing gets charged until you approve. Any automations come over paused for your review. For the full walkthrough, read Is my data safe? How the import scan, price estimate, and approval work.

Don't see your system?

The footer of the hub says it best: tell your onboarding contact which system you're coming from and we'll add it.
