Every migration ends with a completion card showing exactly how many records of each type made it into KM Hub. Use that card as your checklist, then follow the fixes below for the three most common "wait, where is my..." moments after an import.
Start with the completion card
When the import finishes, the wizard shows a completion card with the imported totals per data type. Compare those totals with the counts grid you approved in the estimate step (Contacts, Projects & events, Invoices, Quotes, Contracts, Email templates). If the numbers line up, your data arrived - anything that looks missing is usually a matter of where to look, not whether it imported.
If the import failed partway instead, you'll see a failure card with a Retry button. Click it to run the import again. If it fails a second time, submit a ticket and we'll dig in.
Quick post-import checks
- Clients - open the Clients page and spot-check a few names you know well.
- Events - confirm your upcoming bookings are there with the right dates.
- Invoices and Payments - open both pages and confirm your money history came over.
- Marketing > Workflows - any imported automations are waiting here, paused on purpose. Review each one before switching it on.
Reports show $0 revenue
Revenue figures in KM Hub are built from your invoice and payment records, so start there:
- Check the completion card - did it report invoices imported? If the source account had no invoices to count, the reports have nothing to add up.
- Open the Invoices page and look at the totals cards (Outstanding, Collected, Overdue), then the Payments page.
- If the records are there but a report still reads $0, widen the report's date range - imported history is often older than a default range like the current month.
If invoices and payments clearly exist but revenue still shows $0, submit a ticket with the name of the report you're looking at.
Contacts are missing emails or phone numbers
The import copies what your old system actually stored on each record. If a contact had no email or phone there, it arrives blank here. Spot-check the same contact in your old system to confirm.
To fill gaps in bulk, you can import a CSV of contacts: go to Settings > Connect > Import, choose Spreadsheet / CSV, upload an export from your old system, and use Auto-map with AI to match the columns (see Import a spreadsheet (CSV) of contacts or bookings). If the gaps affect a large part of your list, submit a ticket first so we can help you avoid creating duplicates.
Products or packages didn't transfer
Your pricing catalog lives on the Packages page, and it has its own CSV importer:
- Export your products or packages from the old system as a CSV.
- Open the Packages page and click Import CSV.
- Review the auto-mapped preview and click Import.
The packages importer supports an inline Add-ons column (formatted as Name:Price; Name:Price) and skips packages that already exist, so it's safe to run even after a partial import. Bad rows are reported without stopping the rest of the file.
