Any system that can export a spreadsheet can move into KM Hub. The CSV importer takes an export of contacts or bookings, maps the columns for you with AI, shows a preview, and imports on your say-so. And if you're coming from DJ Event Planner, you can skip the spreadsheet entirely - a live importer logs in and pulls everything itself.
Open the import page
- Go to Settings > Connect > Import (direct link: https://hub.kivimedia.co/?page=migration).
- Click Upload a spreadsheet on the Spreadsheet / CSV card, or Connect & import everything on the DJ Event Planner card.

Import a CSV of contacts or bookings
- Pick the entity tab: Contacts or Bookings.
- In the Coming from select, choose your source: DJ Event Planner, 17hats, Dubsado, HoneyBook, Bookeo, or Generic CSV. Coming from 17hats? A hint card on the page shows how to export the right CSV.
- Click Choose CSV file and pick your export.
- Click Auto-map with AI. Each KM Hub field is matched to the right column in your file automatically.
- Adjust any mapping using the per-field selects. Pick - skip - for columns you don't want to bring over.
- Check the preview table. It shows the first 5 rows and tells you how many rows will import ("N of M").
- Click Import N contacts (or Import N bookings).
Two things worth knowing: a single full-name column is automatically split into first and last name, and the import is server-validated and limited to org admins - so if you don't see the import button, ask your account admin to run it.
The DJ Event Planner live importer
DJEP users don't need to export anything. On the DJEP card:
- Enter your DJEP link, username, and password.
- Click Start import.
- KM Hub logs in and pulls your clients, events, and documents itself. The card shows the latest import's status with per-phase progress, so you can watch each stage complete.
Other places you can import a CSV
- Clients page - the Import CSV button opens a quick importer with automatic header mapping and a preview. Bad rows are reported without stopping the rest of the file.
- Onboarding wizard - the Import step during first-run setup accepts the same contact CSVs, so you can load your list before you ever see the dashboard.
