Run a cold outreach campaign: import a list, enroll, and track opens and replies

Modified on Sat, 11 Jul at 9:32 AM

Cold Outreach Campaigns let you take a list of prospects, enroll them into an email sequence, and watch opens, clicks, and replies per person - all from one dashboard. You bring the list; KM Hub handles the enrolling, pacing, and tracking.

The Cold Outreach Campaigns page in KM Hub with the per-prospect tracking table

Create a campaign

  1. Open the Cold Outreach Campaigns page and click New campaign.
  2. Name the campaign so you'll recognize it later.
  3. Pick an angle - choose a specific scenario for the AI to write toward, or leave it as 'No specific angle'.
  4. Pick the sequence the campaign will run - one of your existing follow-up sequences, or your org's default.
  5. Set the minimum minutes between sends - the pacing control that spaces messages out so your outreach goes at a steady, human rhythm rather than in one burst.

Not sure where to start? Use the suggested campaign

The page can offer a suggested first campaign card, matched to your business flavor. If it fits, click Start this campaign and you skip the blank-page setup entirely.

Import your cold list

A campaign needs prospects. There are two ways to bring them in:

  • Paste your list directly.
  • Upload a CSV file.

Once imported, each lead is enrolled into the campaign's sequence and moves through its steps on the schedule you set. The messages themselves come from your sequence and are shaped by your Sales Playbook, and drafts flow through your Work Board approval process before sending unless you've granted autopilot.

Track every prospect

The heart of the page is the per-prospect table. For each contact you see:

  • Contact - who they are.
  • Step - where they are in the sequence.
  • Status - their current state in the campaign.
  • Last sent - when they last heard from you.
  • Opens and Clicks - engagement counts per prospect.
  • Reply - whether they've written back.

Scan the table for warm signals: someone with multiple opens or a click is telling you they're interested even before they reply. A reply is your cue to take the conversation personal.

Test what works with the A/B panel

Each campaign includes an A/B panel so you can compare variants against each other instead of guessing which approach lands. Use it to let the numbers pick your winning message.

Deleting a campaign

Done with a campaign, or created one by mistake? Use Delete campaign to remove it from the dashboard.

Quick recap

  1. New campaign: name, angle, sequence, send pacing.
  2. Import your list by paste or CSV.
  3. Watch the per-prospect table for opens, clicks, and replies.
  4. Run A/B variants and double down on what wins.
