The Clients page: search, filters, stats, and bulk actions

Modified on Sat, 11 Jul at 9:32 AM

The Clients page is your full customer roster on one screen: every client you have ever worked with, searchable in seconds, with revenue stats at the top and bulk tools for emailing, texting, or cleaning up many clients at once. Open it from Clients in the sidebar.

The four stat cards

Across the top of the page you get an instant health check of your client base:

  • Total Clients: how many client records you have.
  • Active This Month: clients with recent activity.
  • Total Revenue: everything your clients have brought in.
  • Avg. Per Client: total revenue divided across your roster, a quick read on what a typical client is worth to you.

Find anyone in seconds

  1. Type into the search box. It matches on name, email, or phone, so half-remembered details still work.
  2. Click Clear to reset the search and see the full list again.

To slice the list instead of searching, use the filters row:

  • Client Type: narrow to one kind of client.
  • Has Events: show only clients who have (or do not have) events on the books.
  • Balance Due: surface clients who still owe you money, which pairs nicely with the bulk email tools below.

Adding clients

Two buttons at the top of the page cover both speeds:

  • New Client opens the Create Client modal, where you can paste a URL or snap a business card and let AI fill in the details. See the article "Add a client the fast way" for the full walkthrough.
  • Import CSV opens the spreadsheet importer. Pick your CSV file, and KM Hub auto-maps the columns and shows you a preview before anything is saved. Click Import and the list refreshes when it finishes. If some rows have problems, they are reported to you rather than stopping the whole import.

Bulk actions: act on many clients at once

Select one or more rows in the list and a bulk toolbar appears with five actions:

  • Email All: send one email to everyone you selected.
  • Send SMS: text the selected clients.
  • Send Contract: send a contract to the selection.
  • Merge: combine duplicate records (more below).
  • Delete: remove the selected clients.

A practical pattern: filter first, then select. For example, filter by Balance Due, select the results, and use Email All to send a friendly payment nudge to exactly the right people.

Merging duplicate clients

Duplicates happen - the same person inquires twice, or an import creates a second record. To fix it, select the rows that belong to the same person and click Merge in the bulk toolbar. The duplicates are combined into a single client record, so their history lives in one place.

Deleting clients

You can delete a single client from their row, or select several rows and use the bulk Delete action.

There is also a Delete all option for wiping the entire roster, and it is deliberately hard to trigger by accident: a confirmation modal asks you to type your organization's exact name, and the delete button stays disabled until what you typed matches. Once confirmed, every client in your organization is deleted on the server. Treat this as a start-over tool (for example, before redoing a botched import), not routine cleanup - it is permanent.
