The signup wizard: every step of first-time setup (agency and solo tracks)

The first time you sign up for KM Hub, a setup wizard walks you through provisioning your account. It follows one of two tracks depending on the kind of business you run: an 8-step agency track or a 6-step solo track. A progress rail on the left shows every step, the steps are clickable, and Back, Next, and Finish buttons move you through. If you need to bail out mid-way, there is a sign-out escape hatch in the corner.

The agency track (8 steps)

1. Company - your business name, email, phone, address, and website, plus a logo upload. An AI autofill row can read your website and fill these fields for you, and it detects your brand colors while it is at it.
2. Focus - a multi-select of the verticals and talent categories your agency books.
3. Your Team - pick the word you use for your roster (Employees, DJs, Talent, or a custom label) and confirm your account details. This label renames the roster area across the whole app.
4. Package - create your first service package so quoting works from night one.
5. Import - upload a CSV of contacts. Headers are mapped automatically, you get a preview, and rows import on a best-effort basis so one bad row never blocks the rest.
6. Invite Team - send email invites to teammates.
7. Email - set up your sending domain. This step deep-links into Settings > Email Domain, where the DNS records live.
8. Look - pick a theme.

The solo track (6 steps)

1. You - pick your act type and enter your name.
2. Money - choose your currency and region, set an income goal, and set a tax set-aside percentage. These feed your dashboard money widgets.
3. Contacts - the same CSV contact import as the agency track.
4. Autopilot - choose how much the AI does on its own using a three-level ladder: Cautious, Assisted (recommended), or Autopilot. Below the ladder you pick your booking-inbox alias. Choosing a level writes your inbox preset immediately, so the AI Booking Inbox works from your very first night.
5. Email - sending-domain setup, same as the agency track.
6. Look - pick a theme.

The Look step and your brand

Both tracks end with a theme picker offering three house presets. If the AI autofill detected a brand color from your website earlier, a fourth option called Your brand appears, styled with your own colors. Your choice is saved and applied the moment you land in the app.

What happens when you click Finish

Finishing the wizard provisions your organization in one pass: it creates or updates the org, links any subscription you started during signup, records your solo or agency mode and verticals, and saves your theme choice. You then land on your dashboard, ready to work. If you skipped anything, the Quick Start page (hub.kivimedia.co/?page=quick-start) picks up where the wizard left off.
