The Financial Charts page turns your numbers into pictures. Instead of scanning tables, you get KPI cards for total revenue, expenses, and net, plus five chart tabs that show how your money moves over time and which kinds of events actually drive your business.
Open Financial Charts
- Log in to KM Hub at hub.kivimedia.co.
- Go to https://hub.kivimedia.co/?page=charts. It lives in your finance reports area, next to Income, Expenses, and Business Reporting.

The KPI cards
At the top of the page, three cards give you the headline numbers before you look at a single chart:
- Total revenue: everything you have earned.
- Expenses: everything you have spent.
- Net: what is left, the number that actually matters.
The five chart tabs
- Revenue: your income visualized over time. Use it to see the shape of your earnings, not just the total.
- Expenses: your spending visualized the same way, so cost creep shows up as a rising line instead of hiding in a table.
- Year-to-Year: this year plotted against previous years. This is the tab that answers "is the business actually growing?"
- By Event Type: your event mix. It shows which types of events make up your revenue, so you can decide where to focus your marketing and pricing.
- Upcoming Events: a forward view of the events already on your calendar, so you can see what is coming rather than only what has happened.
How to compare year over year
- Open the Year-to-Year tab.
- Read the comparison chart: each year appears side by side so seasonal patterns line up. A strong May last year next to a weak May this year is worth investigating; a business that is up across every month is a business that is genuinely growing.
- Check the KPI cards above the chart to anchor what you see in the totals.
Charts versus the other report pages
Think of Financial Charts as the visual layer on top of your finances. When a chart raises a question, the answers live nearby: the Income page has the line-by-line detail behind your revenue, the Expenses page has the full spending ledger with receipts, and Business Reporting adds period-based KPIs, package performance, and payment health. Start with the charts to spot the trend, then drill into those pages for the why.
