Notifications: your alert feed and choosing in-app, email, or SMS per category

Modified on Sat, 11 Jul at 9:32 AM

KM Hub keeps a single feed of everything that needs your attention - payments, events, emails, team activity, and alerts - and lets you decide, category by category, whether each one reaches you in-app, by email, or by SMS.

Open your notifications

Three ways in:

Work the feed

  • Filter pills: narrow the feed to All, Payments, Events, Emails, Team, or Alerts.
  • Search: type in the search field to find a specific notification.
  • Jump to the source: click any notification and KM Hub takes you straight to the page it's about - the invoice, the event, the email thread.
  • Mark read / delete: each notification has its own mark-read and delete actions.
  • Mark all read: clear the whole feed in one click when you're caught up.

Choose how each category reaches you

The Preferences panel is where you decide which alerts deserve an email or a text, and which can wait quietly in the app.

  1. On the Notifications page, open the Preferences panel.
  2. You'll see a matrix: one row per event category, with three toggle columns - In-app, Email, and SMS.
  3. Flip any toggle. Changes save immediately - there's no separate save button.

A practical starting point: keep In-app on for everything, turn Email on for money-related categories like payments, and reserve SMS for the few things you'd want to know about while away from your desk.

The bell in the top bar

The notifications bell in the top bar is your always-visible entry point - it's on every page, so you never have to hunt for the feed. Click it any time to see what's new and jump straight to the item that needs you.
