Run more than one business under one login: add, switch, and remove a brand

Modified on Sat, 11 Jul at 9:32 AM

If you run more than one business - say a DJ company and a photo-booth brand - KM Hub lets you keep them fully separate under one login. Each brand is its own isolated organization with its own clients, events, money, and settings, and you can run up to 5 brands per account.

Switch between brands

  1. Click your organization's name in the sidebar to open the org switcher dropdown.
  2. Pick the brand you want. The switch is instant.

If your account has multiple brands, you'll also see the Brand Picker right after you log in - choose the brand you want to work in and you land on its dashboard.

Add a new brand

  1. Open the org switcher (click the org name in the sidebar).
  2. Choose Add a business.
  3. Type the new business name and click Create.

KM Hub provisions the new brand as a fresh, fully isolated org that inherits your current currency, timezone, and country, then reloads straight into the new brand's dashboard so you can start setting it up.

The cap is 5 brands per login. If you're at the cap, archive a brand you no longer use (below) to free a slot.

Remove (archive) a brand

Removing a brand is a soft archive, not a deletion - the data is kept and a Kivi admin can restore it for you later if you change your mind.

  1. Switch into the brand you want to remove.
  2. Open the remove-business dialog and type the brand's exact name to confirm.
  3. Click Archive.

The brand disappears from your org switcher, its data stays safe, a slot frees up under the 5-brand cap, and you're automatically switched to another of your brands.

One guardrail: you can't remove your last brand. Every account needs at least one active business, so the server refuses to archive the final one.

What the amber "impersonation" bar means

When our support team helps debug an issue, a Kivi super admin can temporarily view KM Hub exactly as your user would see it. While that's happening, a highly visible amber bar appears with a Stop button, so the session is never silent or hidden. If you ever have questions about a support session, just ask us.
