The Business Knowledge page lets you hand KM Hub the documents that already describe your business - past proposals, pricing sheets, contracts, event docs - so the AI can read them, summarize them, and use what it learns as standing context whenever it writes or advises on your behalf. It is the quickest way to transfer years of business knowledge into your new system.
Upload a document
- Open hub.kivimedia.co/?page=business-knowledge.
- Click the Upload button and choose a file. Supported formats are docx, txt, md, and html.
- Wait a moment while KM Hub extracts the text and the AI writes a summary. The document then appears in your list.

A note about PDFs
If a PDF's text cannot be extracted, KM Hub tells you so honestly with a "not extractable" failed state rather than pretending it worked. When that happens, export or re-save the document as docx or txt and upload that version instead - you get the same knowledge in, reliably.
What the AI does with each document
Each uploaded document gets:
- A kind label - KM Hub classifies it as a Proposal, Pricing, Contract, or general Document, shown as a chip on the row.
- An AI summary - click a row to expand it and read what the AI distilled from the file; collapse it again to keep the list tidy.
- Standing context - the distilled facts become part of what the AI officers and writers know, alongside your Business Brain standing facts. A pricing sheet you upload here helps the AI quote accurately; an old proposal teaches it your voice and structure.
Manage your library
- Delete - remove any document with its Delete button. The AI stops using it immediately.
- Storage cap - each organization has a maximum number of documents, and the page shows a notice about the cap. If you hit it, delete outdated files to make room; keeping the library current also keeps the AI accurate.
What to upload first
Start with the three documents that define your business: your current pricing sheet, your best recent proposal, and your standard contract. Those alone give the AI most of what it needs to sound like you and quote like you. For short one-line rules ("Deposit is 50%"), the Business Brain page is the better home - use Business Knowledge for full documents.
