Business reporting: KPIs by period, package performance, and payment health

Modified on Sat, 11 Jul at 10:29 AM

The Business Reports page answers the question every owner asks: "how is my business doing right now?" Pick a time period, read the KPI cards, then drill into how your packages are performing, how healthy your incoming payments are, and what your profit and loss looks like for that same period.

Open Business Reports

  1. Log in to KM Hub at hub.kivimedia.co.
  2. Go to https://hub.kivimedia.co/?page=business-reporting. It sits in your finance reports area with Income, Expenses, and Financial Charts.

Pick your reporting period

Everything on the page is driven by the range selector. Choose the window you want to look at:

  • Last 30 days: the recent pulse. Good for a monthly check-in.
  • Last 90 days: a full quarter, smoothing out one unusually good or bad month.
  • Year to date: how the current year is shaping up so far.
  • Last 12 months: a rolling year, the fairest view for seasonal businesses because it always includes every season exactly once.
  • All time: the whole history of your business in KM Hub.

Change the range and the KPI cards and tabs update to match, so you are always comparing like with like.

The Business Reports page in KM Hub with the reporting period selector, KPI cards, and report tabs

The four tabs

  • Overview: the KPI cards and the headline picture for your chosen period. Start here.
  • By Package: performance broken down by package, so you can see which offerings actually book and earn. If one package dominates and another never sells, this tab makes it obvious, and that is exactly the information you need for pricing and marketing decisions.
  • Payment Health: how the money you are owed is actually coming in. Revenue you have booked is not the same as cash you have collected, and this tab is where the gap shows up before it becomes a problem.
  • Profit & Loss: your P&L for the selected period, income against expenses, scoped to the same range as everything else on the page.

A simple monthly routine

  1. Set the range to Last 30 days and read the Overview KPIs.
  2. Open Payment Health and deal with anything that looks slow before it ages further.
  3. Switch the range to Last 12 months and open By Package to sanity-check that your best sellers are still your best sellers.
  4. Finish on Profit & Loss to confirm the month contributed to the bottom line, not just the top line.

How this page relates to your other reports

Business Reports is the period-based, decision-making view. For the detailed income ledger, projections, and tax summary, use the Income page. For the expense ledger with receipts and CSV export, use the Expenses page. For visual trends and year-over-year charts, use Financial Charts.
