The Newsletter Planner turns "I should really send a newsletter" into an actual series: you describe your audience and theme, the AI builds a content calendar in your voice, and each planned item converts into a ready-to-edit draft in Newsletters. It's the fastest way to go from a blank page to a month of scheduled ideas.
Where to find it
Open the Clients area from the left sidebar, click Newsletters, then switch to the Newsletter Planner tab.

How the pipeline works
The planner runs as a pipeline that takes an idea all the way to a sent email: analyse your voice, build a content calendar, save the plan, produce drafts, score them, render the HTML, and send. You stay in control at every step - nothing goes out without you.
Create a plan
- Analyse your voice (optional). Paste one to five samples of your past newsletters or emails, separated by a blank line, and click Analyse voice. The AI learns how you write and matches that voice in every draft. Leave it blank and it uses a sensible default voice instead.
- Describe the content calendar. Give the plan a theme or focus (for example "summer events" - this is optional), say who the audience is (for example "our clients and past clients"), and pick the cadence and how many topics you want.
- Click Build the calendar. The AI generates a series of newsletter ideas that fit your theme, audience, and voice.
- Save the plan. It appears in your plans list so you can come back to it anytime.
Turn plan items into real newsletters
Each item in a saved plan has a View option, and once an item has been produced as a draft you'll see an In Newsletters link next to it. Click it to jump straight to that draft in the Newsletters builder, where you can polish the design, run the spam check, pick an audience, and schedule the send like any other newsletter.
What it costs
The planner runs on your plan's monthly AI allowance - the banner at the top of the page shows you exactly how much of your credit a run uses, and a typical run costs only a few cents of that allowance. No surprises, no separate bill.
Tips for a better plan
- Paste real past emails into the voice step. Even two samples make the drafts sound noticeably more like you.
- Be specific about the audience. "Past clients who booked a kids party" produces sharper ideas than "everyone".
- Use the theme field for seasonality: holiday season, summer camps, back to school.
