See your KM Hub events in Google or Apple Calendar (private iCal feed)

Modified on Sat, 11 Jul at 9:32 AM

You don't have to open KM Hub to know where you need to be. The Calendar Feed gives you a private iCal link you can subscribe to from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook, so your KM Hub events show up right alongside everything else in your day. The feed refreshes automatically as your events change.

Create your private feed link

  1. Go to Settings > Calendar Feed (under the Account tab).
  2. Click Create subscribe link. KM Hub generates a private URL that is unique to you.
  3. Click Copy to put the feed URL on your clipboard.

Subscribe from your calendar app

Once the URL is copied, add it wherever you keep your schedule:

  • Google Calendar: in the left sidebar, next to "Other calendars", choose to add a calendar from a URL and paste your feed link.
  • Apple Calendar: choose File, then New Calendar Subscription, and paste the link.
  • Outlook: add a calendar by subscribing from the web and paste the link.

From then on, your KM Hub events appear in that calendar and update on their own as things change in KM Hub. Note that a subscribed feed is read-only: it shows your KM Hub events in your other calendar, but editing them still happens inside KM Hub.

Keep the link private

Anyone who has this URL can see your events, so treat it like a password: share it carefully and don't post it anywhere public.

Rotate the token if the link leaks

If the link ends up in the wrong hands, or you just want a fresh start, click Rotate token on the same page.

One important thing to know before you rotate: rotating the token revokes every existing subscription. The old URL stops working immediately, on every device and every calendar app that used it. After rotating, copy the new link and re-subscribe wherever you want the feed - and pass the new link along to anyone else you had shared it with.
