The Check-Availability widget lets clients answer their own most common question - "is my date open?" - without emailing you and without seeing anything private. They get a simple open-or-booked answer, and never see event details, client names, or anything else on your calendar. You control the widget and manage manually blocked dates from the Availability Management page.
Where to find it
Go to Operations > Calendar and switch to the Availability tab at the top of the page. The Availability Management page has two tabs: Settings and Blocked Dates.
Set up the public widget (Settings tab)
- Copy your public availability link. The Settings tab shows your shareable link with a Copy link button. Share it directly with clients or embed it on your website.
- Turn the widget on. Flip the Public widget enabled toggle. When it's off, the public link shows a closed state and never reveals your calendar - useful if you want to pause availability checks without deleting the link.
- Decide how weekends behave. The Treat weekends as booked toggle makes Saturdays and Sundays report as unavailable on the public widget, even if nothing is on your calendar those days.
- Write your own responses. Two copy fields control what visitors read: Message when a date is open (for example: "Great news, that date looks open. Reach out to lock it in.") and Message when a date is booked (for example: "That date is taken. Contact us about other options."). Make them sound like you.
- Click Save settings.

Block off dates you don't want to sell (Blocked Dates tab)
Sometimes a date is technically free but you don't want inquiries for it - a family day, maintenance, travel. Block it so the widget reports it as booked:
- Switch to the Blocked Dates tab.
- Add a day block by picking the date and entering a reason (the reason is for your own reference).
- The public widget now reports that date as booked.
Plans changed? Lift the block from the same tab and the date reads as open again.
What clients see
Visitors who use your link can only check whether a specific date is open or taken, using the messages you wrote. Your calendar, your events, and your clients stay completely invisible to them.
